Major League Soccer and Apple have announced the initial members of the broadcast team for MLS Season Pass. Two Timbers veterans will soon be seen and heard in over 100 different countries on the Apple TV app: longtime play-by-play announcer Jake Zivin and the Maestro himself Diego Valeri.

Zivin, who has been the TV and radio voice of the Timbers for the past seven years, will serve as a play-by-play announcer for the service. Valeri, who is the all-time leading scorer in Timbers history and was the 2017 MLS MVP and 2015 MLS Cup MVP, will make his on-air debut as a Spanish-language studio analyst.

Zivin and Valeri will join a veteran on-air team, which also includes Maurice Edu, Lori Lindsey, Danielle Slaton, Taylor Twellman, Sacha Kljestan, Bradley Wright-Phillips, Liam McHugh, Tony Cherchi, and Frederic Lord. The service will launch on February 1, 2023 on the Apple TV app.

The complete on-air broadcast team—as well as the full production plan for MLS Season Pass—will be announced prior to the start of the MLS 2023 season, which begins February 25.
