Experience Providence Park like never before in 2024!

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers have unveiled a slate of new additions to the Providence Park experience ahead of the 2024 season. Here’s a rundown of what fans can expect from the Timbers in 2024.

PUB BEER PATIO

In partnership with 10 Barrel Brewing Co. and Widmer Brothers Brewing, the Timbers have unveiled the “Pub Beer Patio” in the south end of Providence Park. With a 700-person capacity, the field-level patio will be the stadium’s first standing room only section and is accessible with special Pub Beer Patio-only general admission tickets. It will also include a 10 Barrel Airstream-based pub serving up a selection of their ready-to-drink cocktails and the “World’s Smallest Dive Bar”, complete with the fixings that make for a bar a true dive — a dart board, pool cues, and a selection of taps.

NEW FOOD OFFERINGS

Park Provisions, the local team of Levy, will be introducing a host of new menu items for matchday at Providence Park. These include Chimichurri Tri-Tip Sandwiches, Hawaiian Loaded Nachos, Kalua Pork Bowls, Loaded BBQ Nachos, Kalbi Beef Rice Wraps and S’mores Donut Holes. Additionally, due to popular demand, local hospitality partners Killer Burger and Society Pie have added new concourse locations in addition to their previous establishments.

NEW VALUE MENU

Also new for the 2024 season: Enjoy special Value Menu pricing on the East Vista and Toyota Terrace at Providence Park. Fans can get a great view of the pitch – and the Portland skyline – as well as get a tremendous deal on food and drink throughout the year.

Concession stands in both areas will be offering the following specially priced $4 food items and an exclusive $6 beer selection.

TAKE TRIMET FOR FREE

For the 2024 Timbers season, fans will be able to use their matchday ticket as proof of fare to ride TriMet buses and MAX trains to and from Providence Park to encourage environmentally conscious transportation. TriMet’s MAX Blue and Red lines, as well as four bus lines, stop in convenient locations near the stadium, and fans can ride starting three hours before a match through three hours after it ends with their tickets.

BOLD REUSE

The Timbers have partnered with Bold Reuse to provide reusable drinkware for alcoholic beverages in three premium spaces at Providence Park – The Club, Lexus Lounge, and Tanner Ridge. The collaboration is a pilot program which aims to reduce single-use waste and promote a more sustainable matchday experience.

NATURE UNITES

The team will debut their new 2024 Nature Unites community kit on March 2 against D.C. United at Providence Park. The jersey highlights community partner and global nonprofit The Nature Conservancy (TNC) with their logo printed on the back of the neck. Throughout the season, the Timbers and TNC will work together to educate, activate and raise awareness around nature conservation and biodiversity loss, as well as encourage communities statewide to actively explore, experience and protect the outdoors.

ACCESSIBILITY UPGRADES

To ease the fan experience at Providence Park, the club has acquired lockers to place outside of the stadium for fans to store personal items in. The lockers will be staffed by security and located next to Gates B, D, E, and F.

Fans will also notice the addition of a lactation pod on the main concourse between Gate D and C. The pod will serve as a safe and private location for nursing mothers.

The club has implemented a series of updated ADA improvements in the stadium. This includes new and upgraded assisted listening devices in the Guest Service Center, a link on the team website to direct audio feed, braille seating section signs throughout the main concourse, and a dedicated page on the guest guide for ADA services.

TEAM PERSONNEL

Leading the team on the field, the club named Phil Neville as head coach ahead of the 2024 MLS season. Previously at the helm for Inter Miami CF and the England Women’s National team, Neville becomes the fourth head coach in the club’s MLS era. The former English Premier League footballer holds a UEFA Pro License and joins Portland on a multiyear contract.
