Box to Box: Timbers lose, Spencer in commercial

A last-gasp goal by defender Drew Moor sank the Timbers on Saturday in a rematch with MLS Cup champion Colorado at JELD-WEN Field. The Timbers are currently mired in their first three-game losing streak of the season with another home game against superstar Thierry Henry and the New York Red Bulls looming on Sunday. This week we bring you the game reports, the Timbers and Trail Blazers joint aid effort, and introduce head coach John Spencer’s acting debut.

On the business side, the Red Bulls announced the resignation of managing director Erik Stover, the man in charge of the development and building of Red Bull Arena.
