With today's release of the 2012 Timbers regular-season schedule, fans across the land are busy marking out the calendars in anticipation of the coming season. Vacation can be asked for, weddings can be planned, and away trip organization can commence.
With myriad matches dotting the landscape from spring to summer to fall, which are you most excited about? Is it First Kick on March 12 against Philadelphia Union? The Cascadia Cup clashes--Vancouver Whitecaps FC visits JELD-WEN Field on March 26 and then Seattle comes twice on June 24 and then again Sept. 15. Perhaps you're more of an away trip fan and you want to head to Seattle on Oct. 7 or to new expansion side Montreal Impact on April 28. Maybe you're holding out for the star-studded Galaxy arrival on July 14. And then there's the unique Cascade Mountains vs. Rocky Mountains home-and-home-back-to-back clash with the Colorado Rapids on Aug. 31 in Portland then Sept. 5 in Commerce City.
