As the 2013 edition of Stand Together nears its end, Timbers players and staff were still out and about alongside volunteers helping out.
Sal Zizzo, Jake Gleeson and Timbery Joey worked at the Volunteers of America's Family Relief Nursery with help from Alaska Airlines while Rodney Wallace was out helping lead clinics with AC Portland at Hacienda Futsal. Ben Zemanski packed food at the Oregon Food Bank and Timber Joey also led storytime at the Hillsboro Library.
The 2013 Stand Together Week, sponsored by Alaska Airlines, adidas, CenturyLink, Coca-Cola and Providence Health and Services, has involved hundreds of volunteers, Timbers and Thorns players and staff, and numerous community partners.
