- Sunday’s trip to Orlando marked the Timbers first to the Citrus Bowl – the 101st different stadium Portland has played in across all eras (since 1975).
- Midfielder Diego Valeri attempted eight shots during the match, which is the second-most for a Portland player in an MLS match. Valeri registered nine shots in a match against the San Jose Earthquakes on Sept. 7, 2014.
- Valeri tallied his 36th assist of his career for the Timbers on Sunday.
- Forward Jack McInerney tallied his 40th career MLS goal becoming the 68th player to tally 40 or more career goals in MLS history.

- Defender Jermaine Taylor appeared in his 110th career MLS match, making the 105th start of his MLS career on Sunday.
- Defender Alvas Powell started his 50th career match for the Timbers, while midfielder Diego Chara made his 150th career appearance for the club.
- The Timbers have registered 14 or more shots in each of their first four matches this season and lead MLS in shot attempts (76).

“Obviously disappointing. I didn’t think it was good enough. I didn’t think the performance was in line with what these guys are capable of and they know it. It’s not just the attack or the defending, it’s both sides of the ball. It’s not coming easy at the minute. I do think we’re getting punished, it seems like every chance the opponent gets is in the back of the net. The last three games we’ve given up the first goal on the first chance the opponent has gotten and any time you give up the first goal it changes the game. It makes it very difficult. But no excuses, it wasn’t good enough and it starts at the top with me. I take responsibility. My job is to prepare the team. My job to make sure they are organized and have the right mentality. And the players didn’t perform well today so I take responsibility for that. The good news is I know that these guys are a lot better than they are showing and I know that because I’ve seen it before, last year, it’s basically the same group. We have a few new guys in but it’s going to be better and it will be better but I’ve got to figure out why it hasn’t been good enough. We have a good locker room, and we have been in situations like this before, and we always find a way out of it. I know it will be the same with this group.”
