The Portland Timbers lost 1-0 to Sporting Kansas City Sunday afternoon at Children's Mercy Park. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from the match. 


2 Portland's Darlington Nagbe was 27 of 29 in pass completion for the day, missing on only two. The midfielder also created two chances in the game. 


3Newly acquired defender Vytaswho made his Timbers debut in the match, delivered three tackles in only 21 minutes of action. The Lithuanian is also the first player from a Baltic nation to ever play for the club. 


5 Timbers goalkeeperJake Gleeson made saves in the match, all in the second half. Four of his five saves came within the 55th and 60th minutes.
