Fans of The Beautiful Game: What does Soccer City, USA mean to you?

Delta Park Pickup, SCUSA Timbers, 11.16.16

In late October, the Portland Timbers and Thorns FC worked with British photographer Rob Low and The Toffee Club on a special photography exhibition entitled, "Roses: The World's Game in Portland, Oregon." Low was given access to Timbers and Thorns games and training sessions but he also scoured indoor futsal courts, city parks, pubs, and more to see how Portlanders watch, talk about and play the beautiful game.

Now it's your turn. Portland has a long love affair with the sport across various eras and teams. The very name, "Soccer City, USA," is one that comes more from a feeling and emotion than any specific set of criteria. So we thought we'd ask you, the supporters, to help share just what the name Soccer City, USA means to you.

Fill out the form below and we'll share answers in early December alongside more images from Low's photo essay. In the meantime, be sure to check out the show at The Toffee Club in SE Portland (1006 SE Hawthorne).
