- Along with new Timbers midfielder David Guzman, Miller was a member of the Deportivo Saprissa side that faced the Portland Timbers twice in the 2016-17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League group stage.


- Helped Saprissa to their 33rd club Primera Division title this past fall by winning the 2016 Torneo de Invierno.


- Started his career in his native Costa Rica before moving to Europe to play in Norway (Bodø/Glimt, Rosenborg) and Sweden (Örgryte). Miller was part of the Tippeligaen championship winning side in 2009 for Rosenborg.


- An experienced MLS player, Miller appeared in 125 league games for the New York Red Bulls helping them to Supporters’ Shield titles in 2013 and 2015.


- With 57 national team caps, Miller was part of the Costa Rica squad at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil when the Ticos made a run to the tournament quarterfinals.


- Miller was in the Starting XI for Costa Rica in the infamous "Snow Game" at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying against the United States on March 22, a 1-0 Costa Rica loss.

- Among his favorite soccer memories is his time playing in the 2001 FIFA Under-17 World Cup with Costa Rica. Current Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Christian Bolaños was also a member of that squad.
