#StatMan Three | Darlington Nagbe with a goal and an assist for fourth time in his MLS career

The league-leading Portland Timbers kicked off their 2017 Cascadia Cup campaign with a 2-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Saturday at Providence Park. Here are three #StatMan takeaways from #PORvVAN.

7 Midfielder Diego Valeri's one-touch assist on Darren Mattocks' 40th-minute goal was the seventh assist of his career against Vancouver. That is the most assists ever by any Timbers players against an MLS team.

4Darlington Nagbe's first-half golazo was the fourth goal scored by the U.S. international against Whitecaps FC in his career. The match was also the fourth time in his MLS career that Nagbe had both a goal and an assist in the same match.
