Portland Thorns FC return to NWSL action this month when they host the Orlando Pride on Sunday, Mar. 26 at Providence Park (2pm PT, TICKETS, FOX 12 PLUS, Paramount+).

Portland will unveil their 2022 NWSL Championship banner in the stadium ahead of the match as they look to begin their title defense.

2023 also brings some changes and updates to Providence Park, including a new, freshly installed FieldTurf pitch. Here's everything to know ahead of the match.

Clear Bag Policy and Bag Check

Providence Park's clear bag policy has not changed from previous seasons, however, there is now a new Bag Check option. Located outside the stadium between Gates D and E, fans can check any unneeded bags or prohibited items here before entering and then pick them up when they leave. The cost is $10 per item; $5 for Annual Members.

New food!

There is a host of new food items across the stadium. Among the highlights: Choripan ā€“ a kind of gourmet hot dog popular in South America ā€“ along with a new Tillamook Mac & Cheese that offers smoked pork or buffalo chicken. A new Mushroom & Parmesan Focaccia is among the plant-based options as well as a new Beet & Goat Cheese Salad.

Society Pie ā€“ a family owned business based in Tigard and Tanasbourne ā€“ is Providence Parkā€™s new pizza offering, which is located behind Section 119. Wolfā€™s Head Smokehouseā€”the popular BBQ food cartā€”now has a location near Section 105.

Killer Burger still has its location near Section 93, while Dutch Bros has moved to a new space above Section 99.

Please note: Mobile ordering is not available at Providence Park.

A new PTFCmap.com

PTFCmap.com ā€“ a digital, mobile-enhanced wayfinding tool to help fans find their way around the stadium ā€“ has been completely updated and remodeled with a new interface and selectable levels around Providence Park.

Thereā€™s no app to download, just visit PTFCmap.com, select what youā€™re looking for be it food, drink, merchandise locations or other amenities, and see the pins appear on the map. It's your one-stop shop for all matchday needs at Providence Park.

Providence Park is a cashless venue

All registers, including at concessions and PTFC Authentics merchandise locations, are outfitted with touchless/tap card readers.
