The full 2023 NWSL season schedule is here

The National Women’s Soccer League today unveiled the full 22-game, 2023 regular-season schedule for Portland Thorns FC along with the group game matches for the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup. Portland will begin regular-season play against the Orlando Pride at Providence Park on Sunday, March 26; kickoff is set for 2 p.m. (Pacific).

Tickets will go on sale here on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. (Pacific). Thorns FC Annual Members will have access to a presale that day at 10 a.m. (Pacific). Fans interested in purchasing Thorns FC Annual Memberships for the 2023 season are encouraged to call the ticket office at 503.553.5555 or email ticketsales@thornsfc.com.

In total, Thorns FC will play at least 28 games combined between regular season and Challenge Cup play, hosting 14 home matches—11 as part of the regular season schedule and three additional group game matches as part of the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup. Thorns FC will square off against San Diego Wave FC, OL Reign and Angel City FC in their Challenge Cup group.

The Challenge Cup will run concurrently with the regular season. Consisting of a six-week tournament from April to September, the Cup will feature three groups of four teams playing double round-robin matches for a total of six contests. Following group play, four teams will square off in semifinal matches on Wed., Sept. 6 ahead of the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup Final on Sat., Sept. 9.

Six teams will qualify for the NWSL playoffs set to begin in late October with the top two seeds receiving a first-round bye. The quarterfinal round will be played on Oct. 22, followed by the semifinal round, set for Nov. 4. The 2023 campaign will conclude with the NWSL Championship on Nov. 11.
