PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers announced today that defender Juan David Mosquera has been called up by the Colombian Men’s National Team for the FIFA international period in October. The Colombian defender will join the senior national team in Barranquilla, Colombia, to compete in 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying matches against Uruguay (Oct. 12) and Ecuador (Oct. 17).

Mosquera, 21, made his debut with Colombia’s senior team on January 28, 2023, when he logged a full 90-minute performance against the U.S. Men’s National Team.
