The Storyline

Portland and LAFC will face off for the second time this season and the 19th time in the all-time series. The Timbers hold a record of 5-6-7 in regular season play against LAFC.

In their last meeting on April 19, the two sides played to a 3-3 draw at Providence Park. Felipe Mora registered a brace while Santiago Moreno scored his first goal of the season to secure the point at home.

The Timbers have scored in 16 straight matches against LAFC, and in 17 of 18 matchups overall. Notably, Portland has scored multiple goals in 12 of those matches.

Notably, Portland midfielder Cristhian Paredes leads both rosters in points in the series with three goals and an assist in 15 appearances, while Felipe Mora has the second most with two goals and two assists in nine appearances.
