COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – The Portland Timbers and Colorado Rapids played to a scoreless draw at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Wednesday night. After the initial match was postponed on July 4 due to severe weather in the Commerce City, Colo., area, the two sides resumed play tonight at the halfway mark.

Victor Griffith made his MLS debut, starting and logging 90 minutes in the match. It was his fourth appearance across all competitions with Portland after featuring in the 2022 and 2023 U.S. Open Cup. Dario Zuparic made his 100th MLS regular-season appearance in the match, becoming the 15th player in club history to reach that milestone.
