Time to start counting down the days (even hours) until the start of the Rio 2016 Olympics. The women’s soccer tournament helps kick off the games in Rio, starting with a full slate of matches Wednesday across Southern Brazil.
Thorns FC have seven players in Rio, representing three countries – Canada, France and United States. We surveyed the rest of the team to see who they’d predict to win gold as well as a team and player to watch throughout the tournament. Here are the results:
