Raul Fernandez made more saves, but Donovan Ricketts made the one to remember.
That was the verdict when the votes were tallied for the Save of the Week for Week 16, with the Portland Timbers veteran coasting to his sixth award this season.
Ricketts earned 46 percent of the vote for his lunging save on FC Dallas midfielder Jackson during first-half stoppage time of the Timbers’ 1-0 win last weekend.
Fernandez picked up 20 percent of the vote for his impressive goal line clearance in the 39th minute of the same match.
