Fields For All, a joint project of Stand Together and Operation Pitch Invasion (OPI), is proud to announce the launch of a project to build a pair of high-quality futsal courts in the Hood River School District in 2024.

The campaign will kick off with a special screening of “Hood River,” a compelling 2021 documentary about how a high school soccer team unites—and reveals the differences between—culturally diverse communities in a small Oregon city. The screening will be followed by a live Q-&-A with the film’s directors and a raffle of Portland Timbers and Thorns gear.

The film will screen at Portland's Hollywood Theatre at 3 pm on Sunday, April 23. Tickets, available through the Hollywood Theatre here, are $15, with 100% of ticket sales and raffle proceeds going toward building futsal courts in Hood River.

Fields For All was founded by Stand Together and OPI in 2015 as a joint project to build high-quality soccer and futsal surfaces in recreation deserts – communities where children do not have ready access to the best facilities for the beautiful game.  It has completed six projects to date:  at King School and Cesar Chavez School in Portland, at Vance Park and the CareOregon Boys and Girls Club in Rockwood/Gresham, at Tom McCall School in Forest Grove, and at Woodburn High School in Woodburn.  In 2023, Fields For All will focus on resurfacing Bless Field, the turf soccer field built by Operation Pitch Invasion in 2014 in the New Columbia community of North Portland.

Stand Together is dedicated to harnessing the power of sport to improve the lives of children and families in the Portland metro area. Through purposeful programs, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic giving, Stand Together focuses on creating equitable and inclusive communities where people of all ages can thrive.
