Another Friday Timbers match + Thorns to NC

After defeating Houston Dynamo FC 2-0 last Friday in Texas, the Portland Timbers will head to Canada for the first time in over two years to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC this Friday at BC Place (7pm PT, FOX 12 PLUS).

The Thorns, having had their match against the Washington Spirit postponed due to COVID-19 health and safety protocol concerns on the Spirit, will travel to North Carolina to take on the Courage on Sunday, Sept. 12 (12pm PT, CBS Sports Network).

Stand Together Week is underway!

With the help of partners Alaska Airlines, Coca-Cola, Daimler, Danner Boots, Safeway, Providence Sports Medicine, and Umpqua Bank, 20 volunteer projects benefiting organizations focused on youth, the environment, and social equity are offered across the Portland metro area.

The volunteer opportunities affiliated with Stand Together Week, named after the Timbers and Thorns' community outreach platform, Stand Together, include taking care of community gardens, cleaning up local parks, feeding meals to those in need, and more.
