The Timbers ODP staff is happy to announce today that Miguel Martin has been invited to train with the U15 United States national team at the Home Depot Center, March 3-10. Miguel is a goalkeeper on the Timbers 1997 pre-academy ODP team and was identified for Oregon ODP two years ago in the ODP Bend Regional Training Center. Miguel is a two-time ODP Regional Pool player with an invite to National Camp two years ago as well. The U15 US national team is made up of the top youth players in the United States in the U15 age group.
"On behalf of the Timbers ODP Staff, we congratulate Miguel on his selection and wish him the best of luck in California in early March," said Mike Smith, Director of Timbers Youth Academy.
