Timbers to conduct two winter soccer camps

The Portland Timbers have partnered with local organizations to offer two winter youth soccer camps in the greater Portland-area in December. The Timbers will run a one-day clinic on Saturday, Dec. 20 in Tigard, Ore., as well as a two-day
camp
Dec.
22-23 in Portland.
Led by players and coaches, the Timbers two winter youth camps, presented by Nike, will feature professional instruction designed to improve skills and generate a better understanding of the game in a fun and educational environment.

Partnering with ClubSport, the Timbers & ClubSport Holiday Clinic will be held on Saturday, Dec. 20 at the ClubSport facility in Tigard, Ore. This clinic is open to kids ages 7-14 of all abilities. Divided into age groups, a clinic for children ages 7-9 will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and children ages 10-14 will participate in activities from 1-3 p.m. The clinic costs $45 for both ClubSport members and non-members. The Timbers have teamed up with Mittleman Jewish Community Center (MJCC) to offer a two-day winter soccer camp on Dec. 22-23 at the MJCC indoor soccer facility in Portland. The camp is open to kids ages 6-14 of all skill levels. The two-day camp will be divided into age groups with children 6-9 years old participating in the morning session from 9 a.m. 12 noon each day. Children ages 10-14 will participate the afternoon session from 1-4 p.m. each day. The Timbers Winter Camp at MJCC costs $75 for both members and non-members.
