PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers forward Kristoffer Velde has been named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 33 and David Da Costa is listed on the bench, the league announced today. The Timbers defeated St. Louis CITY SC 3-2 on the road Wednesday evening to keep their playoff hopes alive.Â
Velde, 27, notched his second brace of the 2026 campaign and tallied an assist in the match against St. Louis to reach 20 goal contributions for the year (10G, 10A).
