– The Portland Timbers will conduct a spring youth soccer camp March 24-27 at PGE Park, it was announced today. Led by Timbers players and coaches, the camp will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day on PGE Park’s new state-of-the-art FieldTurf playing surface.
The Timbers’ spring camp costs $150 per participant and is open to kids ages 8-14. To sign up, contact Timbers camp coordinator Brad Nicolson at (503) 553-5428 or bnicholson@pgepark.com. Space is limited.
In addition 12 hours of professional instruction in a fun environment, camp participants also receive an official Nike camp soccer ball and t-shirt as well as a ticket to any 2008 Timbers regular-season home match.

Portland will face Major League Soccer’s San Jose Earthquakes at the Clive Charles Soccer Complex on the University of Portland campus March 28 as it prepares for the upcoming USL First Division campaign.
