PORTLAND, Ore.
- Individual-match tickets for the 2006 Portland Timbers season go on sale Saturday, March 4, at 12 noon, it was announced today.
Tickets for all 14 regular-season home games will be available at PGE Park in addition to Portland-area Ticketmaster outlets, including area Fred Meyer and G.I. Joe's locations. Timbers single-match tickets, which start at $10, can be purchased by phone at (503) 224-4400 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
As part of the first day of single-game ticket sales, the Timbers will be hosting an open house at PGE Park from 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Representatives from the team will be on hand to give guided tours of the stadium and its seating options, as well as the Pavilion Suites and Field Suites available for the upcoming season.
Previously, Timbers tickets were available as part of the team's season ticket plans. Full- and partial-season ticket plans are available by contacting the PGE Park ticket office at (503) 553-5555.
Following their season opener at Vancouver on April 22, the Timbers, who compete in professional soccer’s USL First Division, make their home debut against the Whitecaps on Friday, May 5.
