PORTLAND, Ore.— The Portland Timbers and Papa Murphy’s will play host to a second set of Community Tours at PGE Park on Saturday, Jan. 29, giving fans a comprehensive update of the on-going renovations at the stadium for the upcoming Major League Soccer season.
The upcoming PGE Park Community Tour, presented by Papa Murphy’s, will begin at 12 noon. Open to both season ticket holders and the general public, the 30-minute, non-walking tours will include an up-close viewing of the on-going renovation and a presentation from Turner Construction. Papa Murphy’s will provide a complimentary lunch following the tour. Season ticket holders will have exclusive access to tours from 12-1 p.m., and non-season ticket holders will be able to attend tours from 1-2 p.m.
All tour participants are required to pre-register for the event; space is limited. Season ticket holders for 2011 can RSVP by contacting the ticket services department at ticketservices@portlandtimbers.com. Non-season ticket holders can RSVP by emailing ticketsales@portlandtimbers.com. Details regarding additional tours will be announced at a later date.
The series of Community Tours is part of a new, multi-year partnership between the Timbers and Papa Murphy’s. In addition to Papa Murphy’s becoming the official pizza of the Timbers, the collaboration also features a presenting partnership for the halftime and pre-game youth soccer games, Papa Murphy’s specialized giveaways and appearances from the Murph Mobile (Papa Murphy’s mobile pizza trailer) at Timbers-related events.
