The Portland Timbers today announced that the club has re-acquired forward
Bryan Jordan
on loan from Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy. Jordan will be in uniform for Portland’s two-game road trip starting tonight against the Carolina RailHawks.
On loan with Portland for the second time this season, Jordan made two starts and recorded an assist while with the Timbers from June 4-7.
Jordan, 22, has played in one match with the Galaxy this season since being transferred from the Timbers in March. In four Reserve Division matches with Los Angeles, he has scored three goals. In May, Jordan was called up by the U.S. U-23 National Team for a tournament in Toulon, France.
Last season, Jordan appeared in 26 matches with the Timbers and recorded five goals and an assist as a rookie to finish among the team’s scoring leaders.
The Timbers battle the RailHawks tonight at 5 p.m. (Pacific) on Fox Soccer Channel. A live audio broadcast is available through
