The Portland Timbers busy run of matches continues Sunday when they host the Philadelphia Union at Providence Park (7pm PT, TICKETS, FS1). Here are key numbers to know ahead of the match with the Eastern Conference opponent.


Portland is unbeaten in five all-time home matches against the Philadelphia Union (4-0-1), outscoring them 10-3 at Providence Park.


With his goal on May 18, Cristhian Paredes became the 10th player in club history to record 10 goals and 10 assists in MLS play for the Timbers.

Bill Tuiloma scored his team-leading fourth goal on May 18 against San Jose. All four goals have come from set-piece plays, while three of them have been headed in.


Marvin Loría has made a goal contribution (1g, 2a) in three consecutive matches, dating back to Portland’s 1-1 road draw with the Red Bulls. Loría is one of five Timbers to tally a goal and an assist this season.


Sunday’s match will be Portland’s fifth match in a 16-day span. The Timbers have played consecutive midweek matches on the road, including their U.S. Open Cup match at LAFC on May 10.
