Defender Roy Miller was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 16 of the 2019 season scoring the game-winning goal in T2’s 2-0 road win over Orange County SC at Championship Soccer Stadium on June 22.
Miller recorded the game-winning goal in the 87th minute after flicking a header off a corner kick from Cristian Ojeda inside the box from a difficult angle to the bottom left corner of the net.
It marks the first time this season that Miller, who has made seven appearances (6 starts) for T2 in 2019, has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week. Additionally, the award marks the seventh time in 2019 that a T2 player has been named to the USL Championship Team of the Week.
Next up, T2 will play host to Reno 1868 FC at Providence Park on Wednesday, June 26. Beginning at 7 p.m. (Pacific), the match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
