Portugal managed to score at the death to pull out a late 2-2 draw against the U.S. in the second Group G match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The draw keeps the Americans in second place heading into Thursday's final group match against Germany (9am PT, ESPN).

While the late Portugal goal was tough, it's far from over for the U.S. as a draw or a win against Germany will see them through to the knockout round and even a loss doesn't eliminate them. MLSsoccer.com has the scenarios here.
