Named to the Timbers’ 18-man roster in a 1-1 draw against the Galaxy on June 4 ... Started for T2 in a 1-0 win over Real Monarchs on May 26 ... Played 45 minutes for T2 in an international friendly against FC Saint Pauli on May 22 ... Scored his first professional goal, tallying the game-winning goal for T2 in a 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC 2 on May 12 ... Played 90 minutes for T2 in a 2-0 win over Sacramento Republic FC on May 2 ... Played 90 minutes for T2 in the team’s 3-2 win over Rio Grande Valley FC on April 18 ... Recorded a start for T2 in the team’s 3-0 win against OKC Energy FC on April 7 ... Played 90 minutes for T2 in a 1-0 win against Colorado on March 24.
Williamson has spent the past three seasons playing at the collegiate level with the University of Maryland, recording 14 goals and 13 assists in 58 appearances during that three-year span. Most recently, in 2017, Williamson started in 18 games for the Terrapins, tallying a team-high six goals and also adding five assists. Williamson was named 2017 Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and was also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America third team, All-Midwest Region second team and the All-Big Ten first team.
The Alexandra, Va., native has also featured at the international level, appearing in all 12 matches (10 starts) for the U-20 U.S. Men’s National Team, recording one goal and two assists. While competing at the U-20 FIFA World Cup in the summer of 2017, Williamson started four of the five matches, helping the U-20 USMNT advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Prior to joining the University of Maryland, Williamson also featured for the U-18 U.S. Men’s National Team and D.C. United’s U-18 Academy team.
