PORTLAND, Ore.
- The Portland Timbers announced today that the club has loaned forward Dan Antoniuk to the Milwaukee Wave of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL).
Antoniuk, who signed a two-year deal to play for the Wave after the outdoor season is over, made his professional debut this past year with the Timbers following a standout collegiate career at Wheaton (MA) College. In four seasons at Wheaton, the Philadelphia native tallied 54 goals and 36 assists for 144 points, including 12 goals and 11 assists for 35 points in just 15 games during his senior season (2002).
With the Timbers, Antoniuk, 22, tallied three points on a goal and an assist in 482 minutes played over 20 matches.
Antoniuk joins former Timber Greg Howes on the Wave.
