PORTLAND, Ore.
- The Portland Timbers today announced that midfielder Oral Bullen was named to the USL First Division Team of the Week.
Bullen earned the honors after coming on as a substitute in Sunday’s 2-1 win over the Toronto Lynx. Bullen assisted on Luke Kreamalmeyer’s goal just one minute after entering the game, then scored a goal of his own nine minutes later.
The accolades were the first for Bullen, who was a four-year standout at the University of Massachusetts prior to joining the Timbers.
Next up for the Timbers is a trip to the land of 10,000 lakes to take on the Minnesota Thunder on Saturday, May 27. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:35 p.m. (Pacific).
