As part of the excitement, the Timbers are teaming up with Widmer and Kells to present two great contests, including the chance to win round-trip airfare for two!
The Coventry City visit marks the second time in as many seasons that a team from one of the top leagues in England has crossed the Atlantic to face the Timbers. Last season, Sunderland AFC of the F.A. Premier League faced off against the Timbers in front of a crowd of 15,376, the largest crowd to attend a Timbers match since the team’s inaugural United Soccer Leagues season in 2001.

Widmer/Kells Halftime Soccer Ball Toss
Purchase a mini-Nike soccer ball today for your chance to participate in the halftime Soccer Ball Toss during the July 8 Coventry City match at PGE Park. The first person that gets his or her soccer ball in the special basket on the field wins.
The grand prize package includes two round-trip airline tickets on Horizon/Alaska Air (a $1,200 value), a $50 Widmer Gasthaus Pub gift certificate and a host of great Timbers items. Second place receives a $50 Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub gift certificate and great Timbers items. A parent or guardian must sign for prizes if winner is under 18 years old.
