Timbers within a few hundred of 500,000 fan mark

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers had 4,795 fans in attendance for their 2-0 win over the California Victory at PGE Park on Friday putting the club within a few hundred fans of reaching the 500,000 regular-season attendance mark.




Since 2001, the Timbers have had 499, 263 fans attend regular-season matches at PGE Park.

In 2007, the Timbers have drawn 21,363 fans for four regular-season home matches.

The Timbers play host to the Carolina Railhawks (3-2-3, 12pts) at PGE Park for Bark in the Park Sunday. The first 250 dogs in attendance will receive a dog bowl courtesy of Fred Meyer. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
