– The Portland Timbers will hold their Teddy Bear Toss on Sunday at PGE Park as they host the California Victory at 6 p.m. The annual event is a benefit for the children at Doernbecher Children's Hospital.

The Timbers (8-2-3, 27pts) have won four straight and have not allowed a goal since June 21 against the Montreal Impact – a span of 364 minutes. Portland’s defense has allowed the fewest goals (7) in the USL First Division and has helped the Timbers post a 5-0-3 record at PGE Park this season.
California (2-9-5, 11pts) has lost four in a row including their third round U.S. Open Cup match to Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids, 3-1, on Tuesday. Including the U.S. Open Cup match this week, the Victory has been outscored 10-2 in their last four matches.
Portland leads the season series between the two clubs 4-0-0.
