– Portland Timbers goalkeeper Josh Wicks and forward Bryan Jordan continue their preseason travels with Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy as the club prepares for three preseason matches in Asia over the next week.
Earlier this week, the Galaxy announced both Wicks and Jordan are a part of the team’s 21-player roster heading for Korea and China following the Pan-Pacific Cup in Hawaii.
The Galaxy’s Asia Tour 2008 includes a match against FC Seoul on Saturday at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Seoul, Korea, and matches in China against Shanghai-Hong Kong United March 5 and Hong Kong Union on March 9.
Fox Soccer Channel will televise all three of the Galaxy’s matches in Asia. A live broadcast of Saturday’s match in Korea kicks off at 11:30 p.m. (Pacific). The game against Shanghai-Hong Kong United airs on tape delay at 8 p.m. (Pacific) on March 5 and the March 9 match versus Hong Kong United will be televised live at 11 p.m. (Pacific).
Both Wicks and Jordan played in the Galaxy’s first two preseason matches which were a part of the inaugural Pan-Pacific Cup, and have been training with the MLS club since early February.
