The Portland Timbers Reserves look to build on their current four-game unbeaten run on Thursday with an MLS Reserve League match against the LA Galaxy Reserves at 7:30 p.m. at JELD-WEN Field.

Tickets for the match, priced at $10, are available for purchase at the JELD-WEN Field box office or online at www.ticketmaster.com. The Timbers Reserves' match on Thursday was originally slated for Friday, Sept. 2, but was rescheduled last week. Tickets previously printed for Sept. 2 will be vaild for the game on Thursday.

In their previous MLS Reserve League match, the Timbers Reserves came back with two stoppage-time goals for a dramatic 3-2 win over the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Reserves. Midfielder Peter Lowry scored a brace in front of 10,077 fans in the Aug. 21 win at JELD-WEN Field. The win put the Timbers Reserves (4-2-1, 13 pts.) into second place in the West Division, eight points behind division-leading Seattle Sounders FC Reserves.

Thursday’s contest is the second of three straight home matches for the Timbers Reserves, concluding with a Sept. 27 match against Chivas USA Reserves, and marks the second time Portland faces the Galaxy Reserves (1-5-1, 4pts) this season.

Unbeaten since June 5, Portland previously defeated the LA Reserves 3-1 on April 24 at the Track & Field Complex at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. The match — the first of the Reserve League season for Portland — saw a brace scored by Timbers forward Spencer Thompson. Former USL Timber Bryan Jordan scored the lone goal for LA.

The Timbers have benefited from consistently strong play by several players during their recent unbeaten stretch. Defender Chris Taylor has played a team-high 585 minutes in seven matches, while forward Brian Umony leads the team with 7 points (two goals, three assists) in five appearances, including a current two-match, goal-scoring streak. Midfielder Rodrigo Lopez has also appeared in every match this season, registering three assists, which has him tied for the team lead.

Portland closes the Reserve League season with games against Chivas USA (Sept. 27) and Vancouver (Oct. 3).
