CenturyLink Man of the Match vs. Real Salt Lake: Sal Zizzo

While goalscores often get all the headlines--and make no mistake, Bright Dike certainly used his head on his athletic second half goal against Real Salt Lake last Saturday--oftentimes it's the work in the trenches that makes the difference.

Witness Sal Zizzo's work on the right flank in receiving the great pass from Darlington Nagbe and then having the spectacular vision to spot Dike loitering near the back post. Zizzo's lofted pass was perfect and Dike made no mistake in burying it past RSL 'keeper Nick Rimando.

Though the fightback was not enough, the Timbers showed energy in Utah. With 60% of the vote, Sal Zizzo is your CenturyLink Man of the Match.
