PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers today announced that the club has acquired the natural second-round picks in the 2014 and the 2015 MLS SuperDraft of Vancouver Whitecaps FC in exchange for the first right of refusal to midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker.
The Timbers play their final preseason match Saturday before opening their third MLS campaign on Sunday, March 3, by playing host to the New York Red Bulls at JELD-WEN Field, presented by Alaska Airlines, at 4:30 p.m. (Pacific) on ESPN2.
