The day had finally come: game day. The adidas Timbers Alliance team played in the FC Bayern Youth Cup on Thursday. Here is the fifth and final post from the kids as they journaled throughout their experience in Germany.

It was one of our last days being here. It was a great experience playing against other countries around the world. Their styles of play were all different. Communicating with other countries was difficult, but fun. We made semifinals, where we lost to Japan, 2-1. We played against Thailand, India, Austria and Japan. We beat Thailand to be in the 3rd-place spot; Germany took first place. We are happy with our team because we played very well and made it to the semifinals. It was an incredible experience and hope to do something like this again.
