Quick Strikes | Adi has started the season on a scoring spree

Fanendo Adi, Timbers vs. Crew, 3.6.16

After a bye week, the Timbers will return to the field when they travel to Florida to take on Orlando City SC on Sunday (5pm PT, FS1). Here are five numbers to know for #ORLvPOR in the latest Quick Strikes.

3Fanendo Adi has started the season by scoring three goals in the first three games of the season. He is the first MLS player to achieve this feat for the Timbers and the fourth since the club's founding in 1975, joining Ryan Pore, Andrew Gregor and Dale Mitchell.

30Through the first three matches of the season, Diego Valeri has taken 30 corner kicks. No other MLS team has attempted that many corner kicks this season.

28In 2016, no MLS team has out-shot its opponents by a higher margin than the Timbers. Portland has attempted 62 shots while allowing only 34, a net differential of 28 shots. The second-highest ratio of shots taken to shots allowed is 20 by NYCFC.

101The Citrus Bowl will be the 101st different stadium that the Timbers have visited to play a league match since the club's first road match on May 11, 1975, against the Denver Dynamos at Jefferson County Stadium in Lakewood, Colo. The match will be the only time this season that the club will play in a stadium for the first time.

8Since 2013, the Timbers have been one of the best teams on the road in MLS, especially when traveling across multiple time zones. Including last year's MLS Cup victory in Columbus, Portland has won eight of its last 16 games at Eastern Conference stadiums.
