T2 forward Neco Brett has been named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 11 after tallying a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win against Swope Park Rangers on June 4 at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, Idaho. Brett’s USL Team of the Week recognition marks his second of the 2016 campaign (Week 7).

Brett, the Timbers 40th overall selection in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, scored his fourth goal in the last five matches in the 27th minute after driving his free kick strike through the Swope Park wall and into the upper side netting to build a 1-0 lead for Portland.
