Coming off their largest margin of victory of the season, the Portland Timbers travel to take on D.C. United Saturday at RFK Stadium (5:00pm PT, KPDX). Here are five numbers to know for #DCvPOR in the latest Quick Strikes. 


1.77Since Caleb Porter became manager in 2013, the club's record in regular-season matches played after Aug. 1 stands at 19-8-12, an average of 1.77 points per game. 


0 D.C. United is one of three MLS teams (Chicago Fire and NYCFC) that has never beaten the Timbers at their home stadium. Portland has a win and a draw against D.C. and hasn't lost at RFK Stadium since the Washington Diplomats defeated Portland on June 24, 1978. 


25 After delivering an assist on Sunday against Sporting Kansas City, midfielder Darlington Nagbe now has 25 regular-season assists for Portland. Nagbe is second among MLS Timbers players for career assists and in sixth place on the club's all-era list.  


106 With three goals in last his four MLS matches, Diego Valeri now has 106 points (33 goals, 40 assists) for his Timbers career. That amount places the midfielder second for most points in the club's all-era record books. The only player left for Valeri to catch is John Bain, who had 145 points (45 goals, 55 assists) in the NASL for Portland.


123 Forward Fanendo Adi is fifth in MLS with 123 touches in the opponent’s 18-yard box trailing David Villa, Bradley Wright-Phillips, Dom Dwyer and Ignacio Piatti. Adi is also fifth in MLS in goals with 11.
