October 9th marks 91 years since Providence Park hosted its first-ever event: a gridiron football game between the University of Oregon and Oregon State University. Multnomah Civic Stadium, as the stadium was originally called, was built in 1926 on the site of Multnomah Field. The stadium has hosted a range of sporting events over the years including ski-jumping, cricket, association football (soccer), and baseball but we know it best as the home of the Portland Timbers and Thorns FC.
Celebrate the history of our beloved stadium with Crosscut Collection’s Multnomah Civic Stadium line as we look forward to breaking ground on a stadium expansion. The Multnomah Civic Stadium line connects with the stadium’s storied past and key design elements.
Between October 6 and October 14, 2017 every Crosscut Collection purchase includes entry into a drawing for team-signed items such as a 2017 authentic primary jersey, 2017 ball, and 2015 starting XI pennant.
