Nine Portland Timbers players appeared in T2’s 0-0 draw against Saint Louis FC at Toyota Stadium on May 5. Midfielder David Guzmán made his first start and appearance of the season for T2, playing 45 minutes. Defender Vytas made his second T2 start of the campaign, logging 45 minutes of action, while defender Bill Tuiloma went 90 minutes for T2.

Seattle Sounders FC 2 (2-5-1, 7pts), the USL affiliate of Seattle Sounders FC, enter Saturday’s match following a 2-1 loss to Sacramento Republic FC on May 6, at Cheney Stadium. Sounders FC 2 are 2-2-0 this season at home at Cheney Stadium. Seattle is tied for the fourth-most goals conceded (14) in the USL this season. In the last meeting between the two clubs this season, Portland fell 2-1 to Seattle in the USL regular season opener on March 16. The two teams will meet once more this season when Portland hosts Seattle at Merlo Field on Sunday, August 19.
