With his performance, LorÃa was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 18. LorÃa has scored two of his goals on free-kicks with his left foot, while scoring the game-winning goal last week against Swope Park inside penalty area with his right foot.
2018 Fans’ Choice Midseason Awards
T2 forward Augustine Williams was named the Young Player of the Year in the 2018 Fans’ Choice Midseason Awards for his performances in the first half of the USL season. Williams has registered four goals and two assists in 16 appearances (9 starts) this season. Additionally, T2 head coach Cameron Knowles came in third place in voting for the Midseason Coach of the Year

Las Vegas Lights FC enter Sunday’s match following a 2-0 loss to Rio Grande Valley FC at H-E-B Park on July 14, which extended a two-match losing streak. Lights FC are 1-6-2 in nine matches on the road this season. Las Vegas’ only win on the road came in the season opener in a 3-2 win over Fresno FC on March 17. Las Vegas has scored 28 goals on the season, and has allowed the third most goals in the USL (38). Nine different players have scored a goal, while 10 Las Vegas in 2018.
