The Portland Timbers will be looking for their third win in seven days as they host the Colorado Rapids, Saturday at Providence Park (8pm PT, FOX 12 PLUS (KPDX)). Here are five numbers to know for #PORvCOL in the latest Quick Strikes. 


3 For the first time in his 123-game MLS career, goalkeeper Steve Clark has delivered shutouts in three consecutive matches. In all competitions, Clark's personal shutout streak is up to 492 minutes. 


8 In nine matches against the Rapids at Providence Park, the Timbers have won eight games with just one defeat. The eight wins are tied for the most home league wins Portland has against a single MLS opponent, along with San Jose. 


62Midfielder Diego Valeri leads all MLS players with created 62 chances this season, according to Opta. Since making his MLS debut in 2013, Valeri has created 37 more chances than any other player in the league. 


+7 The Timbers have outscored opponents by an 8-1 margin in the final 15 minutes of matches this season. Portland has not conceded a goal after the 75th minute in 16 consecutive matches. 


1998Colorado goalkeeper Tim Howard will be retiring after the current MLS season. Howard made his MLS debut on Aug. 18, 1998, when his MetroStars defeated the Rapids, 4-1, in a match that saw current Timbers head coach Giovanni Saverese score goals in consecutive minutes for NY/NJ.
