Sebastian Blanco #2, Timbers @ Seattle, 11.8.18

For the first time since knocking the them out of last year's playoffs, the Portland Timbers will travel to CenturyLink Field on Sunday to take on Seattle Sounders FC (6:30pm PT, FS1). Here are five numbers to know for #SEAvPOR in the latest edition of Quick Strikes.

4 Portland has had recent success when traveling north to take on Sounders FC. In their last four competitive matches on the road against Seattle, the Timbers have two wins, one draw, and advanced via penalties in the MLS Cup Playoffs.

107 Since the start of the Cascadia Cup in 2004, the Timbers have scored 107 goals in the competition. The first Timbers player to score in the competition was Alan Gordon, while Andrés Flores is the most recent.

2X3 In each of the last three matches against Seattle, Portland has scored multiple goals. It is just the fourth time in the 44-year history of the rivalry that Portland has scored twice or more in three consecutive matches.

5 The Timbers have five victories on the road in MLS play in 2019. The five away wins are the most by the Timbers in a single season since 2015.

9 In Portland's match against Orlando, Diego Valeri created nine chances. It was the third time in 2019 that Valeri created nine or more chances in a match while only one other MLS player has accomplished the feat in any match.
