The Portland Timbers will be the visiting team when they take on nomadic Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Providence Park on Sunday night (7pm PT, ROOT SPORTS). Here are five numbers to know for #VANvPOR. 


3 Midfielder Yimmi Chara has scored in three consecutive matches for the Timbers. It is the first time that Chara has scored in three straight matches since he played for Atlético Junior in Colombia and scored six goals in a five-game span from Aug. 6-26, 2017. 


2X6 With his game-winning assist against Seattle, Jeremy Ebobisse has two assists for the season. Ebobisse is the sixth Timbers player with two assists in regular-season play in 2020. 


800 Sunday's match will be the 800th regular season match in the pro eras of the Timbers. The 800 matches comprise the NASL, USL, and MLS eras. 


95 The Timbers and Whitecaps first squared off on May 16, 1975 when Portland defeated 2-0 the Whitecaps in Vancouver. When the teams take the field on Sunday, it will be the 95th match between the two sides. 


26 Portland has scored 26 goals in their 13 regular-season games, which is the second-most among all MLS teams. Vancouver has allowed the second-most goals this year with 30 goals allowed.
