T2 claimed a second-round win against the Michigan Bucks on the road, thanks to goals from Kharlton Belmar and Fatawu Safiu. Then in the third round, T2 fell to Seattle Sounders FC 2 in extra time despite 14 saves from goalkeeper Justin Luthy.
